a couple of months ago i dyed my hair black...i tried going to my natural hair color but i cant get away from the black now....ive been wanting to color my hair blonde but im scared to bleach it...what can i do?

If you are ever in Chicago, look me up. I am a hairstylist who handles this question on a regular basis. There are a few possible solutions, the most common being to go blonde a bit at a time in stages through a highlighing process. Avoid trying to do overall bleaching on your own...you might end up with uneven "spots" of color. The best solution is to seek out a pro colorist and have a few consultaions to compare sugestions. An experienced colorist will know how to acheive this.

You can try using a hair decolorizer which you can find at the drugstore in the haircolor aisle. I would recommend going to the salon to have the color taken out though because they know what they're doing. Also black is the hardest haircolor to remove

Well, first of all dont do it yourself. If you really want this they are going to have to stip the color off since it was dyed. This can take almost a full day if you have it done all at once. Its very expensive to strip the color off to. They charge for that and then the color you want it. I would start off with highlights and then work your way to the color you want.

If you are afraid of the damage bleaching your hair will do, you should go to a hair salon and get a consultation. They will tell you if your hair can take the damage and how to keep your hair healthy. But don't bleach your hair too hastily, because you might regret it.

There is nothing that will remove it except for bleach. You can go to a beauty supply store & I believe there is a pruduct called Uncolor that removes haircolor. It is very similisr to bleach & you may have to repeat the process more then once.Good luck & be careful.

it might be really hard b/c black is dark and you want your hair lighter.
