Hair - November 2006

Every time I let my hair dry on it's own it gets really puffy (uncontrollable). Same thing happens when I blow-dry it and straightnen it w/ a straightner!

Which hair products give your hair the most body and volume? I have blonde hair where the strands are thin, but there's a lot of them, so my hair appears thick. It's pretty straight, especially as it grows longer. If I don't brush it constantly, it lays SO flat. Any products to help give it some body? I have tried several things without much success. Any recommendations would be appreciated...if you could list the estimated price of the product, that would be great too.

so i want to straighten my hair without doing alot of damage to it. i saw this thing on tv about this hair dryer and straightener in one. does anyone know about this? is it good for my hair? and also if i just use a straightener, what kind of cream or protectant do i need to put on my hair? and also, what is a good leave-in conditioner and is it expensive?

For a guys hair, long, but not shoulder length long. Have really dry hair, so I need something to make it look not dry. To add weight and give it a silky look. Like Johnny Depp in Finding Neverland.

I just had a baby 12 weeks ago and have noticed that since his birth my scalp has been very itchy. I usually wash my hair every other day, if not every day. I have been stealing my hubbies Head and Shoulders shampoo but haven't noticed any change. Also it feels like I have the odd pimple on my head.

Any ideas on what it could be?? I don't have a regular hairdresser that I could ask.

Also, I colour my hair, usually every 4-5 weeks or so. I last coloured it 5 weeks ago.

Please help!!!! It's driving me crazy and I must look funny always scratching my head!!

P.S. And NO it is not lice - I have checked!

what color/brand/type should I use?
. My hair is med brown which has reddish/blondish natural highlights in the summer. I did have my hair highligted once in the salon - they were going to do mocha and it came out almost white! Got that fixed and it has since grown out. What do you recommend brand wise? I have medium length wavy curly layered baby fine hair.It gets real mousy in the winter. Any other tips - I also want it to look natural. Thanks!

I am 23 years old and never dye my hair. I went to get my hair cut and the hair stylist found ONE grey hair. It was like 6 inches of grey hair.

I know its only 1 grey hair, but is this normal for a 23 year old?

Should I expect to get a lot more soon or do many grey hairs take a long time to show up?

II don't want to dye my hair until I have out of control grey hairs..

P.S. I have a healthy diet and I am not extremely stressed.

I have shoulder length hair with layer's in it. It's fairly straight but when it is done correctly it has lots of volume, but I have a hard time doing anything with it by myself.
