Hair - November 2006

My hair is a brownish/orange color. I am trying to get it a really light brown but my hair will not take to any dye i try to use. does anyone have any suggestions, like maybe a different volume or a specific color of dye.

I have thick hair and whenever I leave it down it's gets all tangly and bad looking. Ecspeccially when I do any sport. ( I do gymnastics and normmaly I can't run a brush through it.) What should I do?

I have long hair and I don't plan on cutting it anytime soon so I figured I might as well make it look neat. In case you're wondering, I have the same hair type as him which is why I chose any of these styles.

Those were only ones that looking good IMO. The other ones were too formal looking. Which looks the best?

I'm 20 years old and have a lot of facial hair/body hair too. I've been dealing with it for over 5 years now and it's rather embarrassing. It's also a hassle to shave every day because if I miss even one day, the hair is noticable. Is there any products, prescriptions or not, that you know of or I could ask my doctor to prescribe me to help remove or reduce the hair? My face is a bit rough due to shaving, and it tends to hurt whenever I do.

Please help!

So my friend has really blonde hair. like white blonde. and she dyed her hair brown, but the dye she used was supposivly not suppose to be used on blonde hair and it tinted her hair green. she said your not suppose to use other dyes to fix it. any ideas on how to fix this????

she said the only way she found was to go to a salon and have it redyed.

My hair turns incredibly frizzy and poofy whenever it dries. Blow drying my hair does not help at all because it will bounce back to frizzy.I think my hair would look more attractive if it were thin ad manageable I mean my hair is very poofy!! whenever i leave hair clips in over night and wake up the next morning I dig through my hair to find them!! *Tear* :(

Naturally my hair is dark blonde. When I was younger my mom highlighted my hair with a hydrogen peroxide mixture, but I dont remember what was in it. It might have just been mixed with water to dilute it Im not sure. ANYWAYS, my hair is dyed a medium brown right now, and im wondering if anyone knows how to do at home highlights? Yes I know that peroxide is bad for your hair. My mom is also a cosmetologist. I dont wanna do my whole head. just a few strands here and there. Any tips? And PLEASE dont say beer, lemon juice, lightening shampoo, or sun-in. Because they dont work for me, and all sun-in is is just peroxide in a spray bottle that says Sun-in. Thanks in advance! Jerr

my friend's mom won't let her straighted her hair at all because how much damage can be done...(says her mom)
I told her mom that straightening hair only once or twice a week isn't goin to kill your hair but unfortunately her mom wants more proof..
where can I find proof that hair can only be severly damaged by straighteding if you straighten multiple times in one day?
