shes right. she will need to get a red tint to cancell the green and then tint it brown again. its best left for the pros because it could easily become a problem with too much red.

Try Sunlight dish liquid. I know if a color is too dark it will take the dye out. Not sure about green though. It usually takes quite a bit and should be done shortly after dying her hair.

If your trying to get ideas on how to fix your friends hair.
Stop it now.

Your friend is right, the only way she can fix her hair is to go to a salon. You should never mess around with Virgin hair.
The hairdresser may have to strip her hair. That's not a job for doing at home.

Yes, the only way to "fix" the green hair is to go to a professional hair stylist. Do not try it yourself as you run the risk of hair breakage.

Use really strong shampoo (Head & Shoulders Menthol is best), and it will get the dye out of her hair in about a week if she washes it everyday..
Good Luck..

She needs to have red put in the hair to get rid of the green. I do not think the color that is in it will have to be stripped. If she would have used a red filler with the color she put on,it would not have turned green.
