The best shampoo line I've used for curly hair is by Matrix called CURLY. It's in a lime green bottle and when you use it with the extra deep conditioner it repairs the dryness and brings life back. I was skeptical about this line. I had colored my hair and then ontop of it gotten a perm so it was dry, frizzy, and a bit brittle. I began using this as recommended from my stylist and its great.
Also, if you use the mousse and spray gel and blow dry it upside down that gives it tons of volume.

That depends on your ethnic background. My kids are bi-racial and so I am forever experimenting. The products that I have found that work really good with dry/damaged/brittle hair are the new Sunsilk Hydra TLC shampoo and conditioner (they also have one that is for curly hair and it works really well too), Pantene works really well and so does Aussie brand shampoos and conditioners. Good luck!

the parts that dont curl any more are the parts you need to cut as for what is frizzy will take its place once you have done that.get frizz ease shampoo and moisturizer and be gentle to your hair if they are curly because it is very difficult to hide breakage in your type of hair, take care of them and they will take care of you is my moto...lol...
