Hair - November 2006

2 days ago i went to a salon and dyed my hair
well... it was supposed to look like this

but instead its like dark brown with blonde streaks on top
and BRIGHT ORANGE underneath
i mean pumpkin orange.... which just clashes and looks HORRIBLE

i wanted to cry and the lady blamed it on the fact i used box color a while ago and that if i dyed it again later it wuld get blonder

buuuuuuut how long shuld i wait
i kno it damages ur hair
but I REALLY REALLY HATE THIS HAIR RIGHT NOW
im sick of having to hide it and i just want it fixed

at work most people have chi but i hear that chi has a lot of electrical problems & the other bad thing is that it only has a on and off button ,oh & the cooling one too.

Well I just had a baby and have not quite lost all of my baby weight. I am one of those people that you cannot "pinch an inch" on my stomach but ..I have some serious hips and thighs. Like size small shirts but size 8 pants plus too kids have really made those hips grow.. anyway I have been toying with the idea of a short haircut (not a boycut but right at my chin) but I have heard that this will make my hips just look bigger? I have a thin face and upper body? Is this true? Please no snide remarks I know it's a silly question but I just wanted some opnions

I just got a really short hair cut because my hair was damaged really bad But i miss my long hair how could i get my hair to grow back faster i'm trying this new product call Groganics it soppose to be really good I have noticed a little growth but i want more they also have so vitiamins that i want to start taking hopeing it will speed up the overall growth do u think its worth it do you know anyone else that have tried this product the lady that recommed it to me which she used it also said a lot of older men use it and praises it I just want to know if anyone else have tried it also on the bottle it says its a DHT blocker for older people or people with advanced hair loss and i'm only 19 do u think its neccessary for me???

I went through a phase when I first permed my hair then went blond. After torturing my hair, I came full circle only to appreciate my beautiful natural hair color. People today are artificial hair color happy! Streaks, 2 tones... Yuck. God gave us such beautiful natural color... I just wish everybody would see that!

I saw a 12 or 13 year old boy with a total hair-dye job with the streaks... Just stupid!

There is just no substitute for a great cut with beautiful natural colored hair!

Don't get me started on shaved eyebrows that have been magic Sharpied-back-in!

I'm asian, and I am 16 years old. I hate my hair, it grows very quickly and is very thick and coarse. I want hair kind of like the "anime" style hair, but not that wild. I have about shoulder length curly brown hair (not super duper curly, but its just over wavy) and I hate it!!
I never know what to do with it and it never does what I want it to do when I want it to do it. Any hair style suggestions? Or updos? And when I straighten it with a flat iron it just curls right back up (in this really ugly way that makes me look like an oompa loompa from the old ***** Wonka And The Chocolate Factory), is there another way?? If so, what was it like? Did you enjoy the results? How long was it before you needed to have it done again? What was the home maintenence like for you: were you able to wash your own hair and did it still look straight afterwards? Would you do Japanese straightening again, or to a traditional relaxer?
