how long should i wait before redying my hair?

Question

2 days ago i went to a salon and dyed my hair
well... it was supposed to look like this

but instead its like dark brown with blonde streaks on top
and BRIGHT ORANGE underneath
i mean pumpkin orange.... which just clashes and looks HORRIBLE

i wanted to cry and the lady blamed it on the fact i used box color a while ago and that if i dyed it again later it wuld get blonder

buuuuuuut how long shuld i wait
i kno it damages ur hair
but I REALLY REALLY HATE THIS HAIR RIGHT NOW
im sick of having to hide it and i just want it fixed

I know that you're supposed to wait a while before redying your hair, but I personally would have it fixed asap. If you deep condition your hair before and after the new color, you should be okay. Just don't make a habbit of it.
Plus, don't ever go back to the same hairdresser. She made a mistake, not you. In the future, with a new salon, you may want to stick with something more simple (your ideal color looked pretty complex) to make sure they can handle that before you entrust them with more responsibility.

I'm so tired of hairdressers messing up peoples hair and not taking responsibility for it. Your hair is orange underneath because she did not do it correctly. You want it blonde underneath,right? Well, you can fix that pretty easy, you just need to go lighter. It sounds like either she did not leave the bleach on long enough or used something that was not strong enough to lift it to the right level. Wait at least a couple weeks and while your waiting conditoner your hair. Don't worry, at least this is fixable. I totally agree with the person above me also.

ur suppose to wait at least 3 weeks, it says on the box if u read if u do a home color at least every 3 -4 weeks, but ive done mine every 3 weeks, it wont kill ur hair, just use shampoo for colored hair, the reason it didnt work the way it was suppose to be, u have poress hair so now,use herbal essess shampoo for colored hair and herbal essece conditioner too, this will make ur porris hair get better, then next time u go to the parlar ur hair should be the way u want it, did u ask the lady at the parlor why this happened,she should of told u ur hair was very bad shape and porres.i found out this way too.and looked it up plus i called the clarol people.

One month is usually the minimum, But I would go to the salon that did you botched colour and speak to the manager. MOST good, qualified salons will have a satisfaction guarantee. If you show him or her what happened, and how it turned out orange, they should fix it up for you for free! Using a boxed colour does not turn blonde hair pumpkin orange if they used the correct formula (which I have a feeling they did not)

See the salon and kick up a storm! You deserve to get a free fix for it!
