Unfortunately, that is just your scalp.. You should use a clarifying shampoo ever 1-3 washes. This cuts the PH (acidity) of the hair removing all oils an buildup that may have built up on the hair. Have you been using the same brand of shampoo for a while? Sometimes when you do.... it starts to build up on the hair, rather than remove the oils/dirt. Try a clarify Shampoo. I recommend Rusk Clarify or Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo. Promise.... it will help.

you might not be gettiing all of the conditioner out of your hair. especially if you have long hair. also if your just prone to oily skin, your hair is going to be more than likely oily too, just bc you have the same type pores all over your body. when you
wash your hair, be sure to use warm water and scrub scrub scrub ur scalp! make sure all the conditioner is out of your hair too. Once its out, rinse your hair with cool to cold water. this will seal your pores on your scalp, and make your hair less oily. Hope this helped! also switch to a shampoo/conditioner thats meant for people who experience oily hair. AND, you may also have oily hair bc u wash it too much. weird but true. try skipping a day, but still take the shower obviously, and see if that helps. its ok to get it wet. just try washing it every other day.

washing your hair every day causes oily hair. Try washing every other day, using a clarifying shampoo, Biolage has a good one. Use your conditioner on your ends only, avoid the scalp.

You aren't letting the shampoo sit in your hair long enough, or, you aren't rinsing well enough, or, you are missing spots.

The easiest solution is to wash it twice in a row, starting with the back of the head bc that part is the most oily.

well first off dont wash it everyday!!! sounds gross but everyday washing rinses out your natural hair oil so then it tries to repair itself so its really oily!! Use a clariffing shampoo once a week. And leave in conditoner!!! it works great cant live without it!!!! then on your brush sprinkle a little baby powder it help tame the oil
good luck

Maybe the shampoo that you are using is dry.
Or if not that then your scalp isnt absorbing the oils in your hair like it should be. Maybe you need to find somthing for scalps.
In a store maybe rite-aid or somthing
Hope I helped

probably because you wash it everyday but I recommed Pault Mitchell's tea tree shampoo. I started using it myself about 3 weeks ago and I do like it.
