I want hair extensions but im iffy about getting them done. I recently cutt my long (dead) hair and now its just a lil below my shoulders...And i miss having long hair...short hair sucks!

So since im trying to grow my hair back long and HEALTHY, i need to know what the best way to put in hair extensions...or if i should even get them done. I heard clip on hair extensions are the best because you can take them out at the end of the day and it wont stress your hair, but do they even stay in properly? I think it will give me problems but im not willing to put glue in my hair so i think thats the only way to go..... i dont know what to do geezzzz. I want the hair to be real too so i could style.

I just need to know everything there is to know before getting them./ Thanx

Poofy, curly hair that's natural, or straight hair that is processed with heat? I'm trying to decide if I should straighten my hair this weekend. I'm going out!

I am never good when it comes to getting haircuts and asking for what I want. For my next haircut, I will probably bring a picture of what I want. However, I want to be able to explain the cut that I want. The closest pictures I can find that show what I want is from Edward Norton in Fight Club.

http://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0137523/Ss/0137523/fc2.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Norton,%20Edward%20(I)

How would I ask for a haircut that looks similiar to that shown in the pictures?

I am a student and I just can't spare $50+ right now for a haircut as the holidays are coming up, and I'm pinching every penny. But, I still need a cut. I'd like some layers, but I'll settle for a trim. Anyway, I'd like to know about people's experiences with chain-salons such as Cost Cutters or Fantastic's Sams. Can you really get a good cut and quality service, like they claim in their commercials?

I'm serious! if you let a guy's hair grow in two months he'll have a lot as compared to a girl we have to wait a long time. so why do their hair grow faster than ours?

keeping it simple, i had naturally brown/black hair. i bleached white streaks into it and then dyed the rest of the brown, black (all done by a pro stylist). when i rinsed off the dye and bleach, the black dye started bleeding into my white hair, making it grey/silver/dirty white. it looks really bad, and id like to get the bled black dye out of my white hair asap. how can i do this? i shampooed and rinsed, and still no help.

Hi everyone. I'm new here!
I have a question... my hair is a medium auburn colour, slowly turning to a brown shade.. I have had my hair dyed blonde for well over a year now and would like to go darker... I was thinking a medium brown. Nothing too dramatic since I'm pretty white. I have blue eyes. I've been getting my blonde hair done at a salon all this time but this is getting expensive. What I was thinking about doing is getting a box colour (a brown shade) and doing it at home. Just wanna know if there's any things I should look out for? What shade will my hair turn out to be? Or should I maybe reconsider... Not sure how my hair will turn out if I dye over the blonde hair, I don't wanna screw up my hair.
I welcome all suggestions. Thanks :)
