run through your hair with your fingers, and make sure nothing feels soapy. also, try patting your hair a few times and make sure you don't hear any soapy sound, that always helps me. also throw your hair around here and there, and make sure you don't hear any soapy sound, and your hair doesn't feel stiff.

A good indicator to tell if shampoo is all rinsed out is to feel your hair with your hands, does it feel smooth and clean? or does it feel as through it still has lather (shampoo) in it? Another way of telling is if the water in the shower that comes from your hair is clean/clear with no residue left in it. Hope this will assist. You could always ask your hairdresser if you are not sure, they are after all the experts when it comes to hair.

Wash it under water for a long time. Scrub your scalp and and run your fingers from the top of your hair to the bottom. It's so important you rinse it all out because if shampoo is left in your hair it get's greasy and nasty
Hope this helps

you can tell right away. if you still have shampoo then your hair feels a little on the slimey side. if its all rinsed out then you have more of a squeaky clean feeling to it.

I have this problem sometimes, I have really long hair and it can be a pain. I run my hands through entire head of hair while standing under water then I smooth my hands over my head and down my hair that usually does the trick.
