Its not a good idea to wash your hair every day for the fact of drying it out....even if you use all the moisturizer, conditioner, or hair products for your hair, it still damages your hair

I was everyday, sometimes 2x if I am going to the gym.

benefits:
if you have oily hair, this will decrease the amount of oil
if you sweat, this will decrease odours

consequences:
overwashing can lead to the scalp losing too many natural oils, thus the scalp will produce even more oil (oils are stripped off)
over-drying of the hair

I suggest using a gentle shampoo the more often you wash your hair, and sometimes you can just condition....It doesnt hurt to just a deep conditioner once or twice a week if your hair is unmanageable. I wouldn't blow dry or use any heat though...

Benefits: I do it every day because I shower every day, and I don't feel clean if I dont' wash my hair. but I use a really good shampoo, so it's not a big deal.

Concequences: if you use a cheap shampoo, it tends to strip all of the natural moisture from your hair, which can make it either create more oil and become greasy, or dry it out really bad. But I don't care, because if I don't I feel dirty.

I wash my hair most days, I like it to smell fresh :D there are no serious consequences or benefits though I heard using shampoo every day can strip hair of natural oils. and also you should switch your shampoo regularly because your hair can get used to it and the shampoo wont work as well :D

Everyday!
They say to wash it every other day so you don't strip your hair of it's natural oils, etc. but I can't do that.
If I don't wash it every day then it feels gross and I can't stand it, so it is just a personal benefit for me to wash everyday.

No, I wash my hair on Saturdays and Tuesdays. If you wash your hair every day, your hair and scalp get very dry and sensitive. The water and shampoo strips hair from its natural moisture.

I don't wash my hair everyday. I only wash it maybe twice a week, but use conditioner on it everyday. I have kind of dry hair though. My mother has very oily hair and if she doesn't wash it everyday it gets too greasy.

I used to but then I got a really bad problem from eating too much soy and my hair got very unhealthy and fell out.

Now, I wash my hair every other day and it seems to work a lot better.

No, I do not wash my hair every day. I wash it every two days, or
unless I do a lot of strenuous exercise.

No, I don't because of my hair type, washing it daily would wash out all the natural oils.
