After you straighten your hair....what is the best creame to keep it straight? What is it called or the brand name? THANKS!

My hair is really thick, poofy, and frizzy. I usually end up straightening it. How do I make it look cute when its curly? I'm willing to buy products for it. I cant stand my hair! Any suggestions would help. Thanks

To straighten hair:

1. I have oily hair so whenever I'm going to flat iron my hair...I should wash it right?

2. I use Herbal Essance drama clean shampoo and a conditioner for oily hair...use condtioner to keep hair straight and smooth?

3. After washing my hair....I comb a heat protector with my clean hands and comb it thro neatly so that my hair doesnt burn with the flat iron right?

4. I take sections of my hair and split it up and straighten it right?

5. And then...I use a anti= puff cream to keep my hair from messing up the whole day right?

Is this the correct steps for straightening my hair?

You know when people get their hair wet and scruntch it with gel? Well I LOVE that look and my hair just WON'T do it- it's WAAAY to straight- naturally!!! Does anybody els have this problem? And how am I supposed to scruntch it to stay that way?

if i wash my hair it turns real thick and in the morning i have to wet my hair alot then towel dry it and it helps laydown better but i hate having thick hair cuz it takes for ever to get it rite im 13 and im a guy and yes i get my hair thinned out when i get it cut but it doesnt seem to help

An old hair stylist that I had told me that every time you color your hair, you should wait 3-4 days to wash it, so the color holds longer. Well, I just had my hair colored yesterday afternoon, and it's already starting to get greasy looking, I think she put too much product in. Do I really have to wait 2 more days for the color to last longer, and look better or is that just a bunch of BS?

I relaxed my hair for at least 10 years and I stopped 4-5 months ago. And I just cut off the rest of my relaxer today. I just got tired of dealing with 2 hair textures and my hair was unhealthy.I believe that when Black people straighten their hair tey are self-hating.

i have dirtyblonde..almost auburn..light brown. colored hair. it is thick. and curly. but i am able to make it striaght. it is past my shoulders. but i wouldnt realy classify it as long. i am not so fancy, or girly. what new styles should i wear?

My mom isn't anything like me, she's not girly or preppy like I am, and she never has been. My hair is a dark blonde with lots of dark lowlights and whenI was little it was blonde. I want to dye my hair blonde (professionally) but my mom doesn't want me to. I don't know if I should or not... what do you think? I really want blonde hair. And no not becuase its a trend, everyone else in my town is dying theirs brown lol. So I'm not following anyone. My mom thinks its too fake to dye my hair blonde, and well I am kinda fake lol.
