A sponge is good. Gel just doesn't work with just your hands, does it.
I like the mesh body scrubbers the best. I seem to get more lather with less gel.

you put a little of the gel and put it in the sponge and get it nice and foamy and than you wash your body with it you know how the instructions say lather rinse and repeat.

Put it on a loofah, or just a washcloth, and rub it on.
