I need the black hair dye removing but i cant grow it out as it takes too long to do.

I understand it is because the body stops producing some kind of enzyme or protein, but WHY WE CAN NOT TAKE IT ARTIFICIALLY???? like vitamins or something??? Wouldn’t it be great instead of hair color just take a pill to cover gray hair??? PEOPLE, INVENT SOMETHING PLEASE!!!!! I just got my first couple of gray hairs and I AM FREAKING OUT!!!!!!! Do not want to be a slave of hair color and NO, I DO NOT LIKE GRAY HAIR ON ME. :(

Does anyone know how long it should grow back? My hair grows really quickly and i have a haircut every three weeks. Its only shaved not waxed so it should grow back quite quickly yeah? :)

I have just noticed since I washed my hair this morning that even though I washed it, it doesn't appear to be clean on the top. This is not normal for me at all! It seems that there is a film of something there~~~Could it be my shampoo isn't good? and I just washed it again with a different kind and still the same thing~~~Ewe!!!

Is it possible to have hair that will not color? I have medium auburn hair, I have done strand tests with blond, and brown hair color, nothing works. My hair is long, thin and straight and cut i nto long layers.I style it with a curling iron to get loose waves and curls. I made the mistake 2 weeks to have a body perm put into thinking that i would be able to spend less time on it with the curling iron.BIG MISATAKE. Now my hair is shorter becasue the perm shorten it and also a trim. It has the texture of a broom, is breaking off like crazy. It is too curly. It looks ok if i take the time to use the crlilng iron on it, to straiten and give the curls some definition. Before when i dried it it felt very soft , shiny and healthy looking. Now its frizzy, looks like broom straw and is dry. What can i put on it to bring back that silky texture? What can i use to make the perm go away? How can I keep it from breaking? I am not cutting my hair.

I have long hair but it is dry and brittle. I use hot oil once a week, use both infusium and pantene conditioner daily or every other day. But i still have to put some smoothing cream in it when it's dry, hoping for a healthy, non-brittle feel.

OK i have a major issue with my hair.

Im middle eastern, and have had dark hair all my life. I have very prominent black eyebrows and eyes, but my hair was always a lighter shade-more brown than anything else.

So i dyed my hair black-and it looks really good.

but that was 3 years ago..and im so bored of it..and want to add highlights-caramel browny shades to it.

except the hairdressers wont do it saying ive dyed it so it wont come out..but surely lots and lots of people have dyed their hair black but still lightened it?

any advise on what i can do??

After an eight year stint in the Navy, I've decided to let my hair grow out while I'm in college. I also work in an office, and while I think it's going to look really good once it gets long, I'm worried that it might look really bad in the meantime. What is the best way to go from short to long without looking all scruffy and unkempt? Should I still get it trimmed and the back of my neck cleaned-up periodically?
