I'm going to get a hair cut soon. And I can't decide if I should leave my hair how it is and just get a normal trim. Our If I should do some other new styl to my hair. the normal all one cut is geting a little boring. even tho everyone says. "Oh your hair is so beautiful!"

What type of straightening hair lotion is good? which not cost more than $20? I heard people say wallmart there's a straightening machine cost $7. what machine is that? what name? what type? ( Notes ; pls don call me go rebonding ) No points for that =)

i am a 20 year old MALE college student and i want to dye my hair a really different color like blue or red how should i go about doing this, and what will others think. i am a very popular kid in my college, and i am curious if this will also set a trend. i am sick of my blackish brown hair and want to try something else, is that weird?

Ok I am 15, but my arm is already dark with hair. I used a hair trimmer with a small clip attached and it took some hair out. My arms still have a good amount of hair on them, just when I grab them I can't twist them(that's how hairy my arm was). Some areas I still can do that because the trimmer did not get all of it. The thing is though, my mom told me that i'm an idiot because my skin will no longer be soft and it will have bumps because the natural softness is gone and I will just have thick hair. If I stop now, only having done it once, will it grow back thicker or appear thicker?

i am not trying to make fun of my selve, but my hair is crazy mest up. think of vannesa anne hudgens hair(curly and wavy, bouncy, long)much shorter(but not too short) 10x poofier(really poofy) i want to wait untill my hair grows so you know it will probally look nice, even though untill my hair grows its going to llokk soooooooo bad n poofy so n e advice for what is shud do in the next year or so? thanks, also my hair drys n then becomes poofy, its also dry. thank u

Hi. My bro has natural wavy/slight curly hair. Hes wanting to grow it out some ( he usually keeps it short) & he wants to grow it out to see what he looks like. It looks like a afro after it dries from a shower, so he wears a baseball cap for a few hours that helps to flatten it down. Is there anyway to get his hair straight ( he wants it to come down past his eyes) besides using a straightener?

My hair is super curly (its like Kelis or Mya) right now its kinda between a light reddish brown i colored it with dark and lovely deep copper but it faded and is growing out....i just need something different that alot of ppl already dont have (like blonde highlights....etc) Im open to alot of things just not trying to be too ghetto....i need to be able to still get a job lol

I am asking this because of the cigarette commercial where they supposedly put sodium hydroxide on these guys' back to spell out CIGARETTE, but I am a chemistry major, and if they really put sodium hydroxide on the guys back, it would have burnt the hell out of them, because sodium hydroxide is a strong base, which is sometimes worse than an acid. Anyway, if Nair does contain sodium hydroxide, its really not smart to be putting it on your skin????????

I've tried a few shampoos, but it doesn't seem to work. My split ends have split ends! And it just looks bad, at least to me. Is there anything I can do to get rid of them, and keep them away? Anything would help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I dyed my hair strawberry blonde a couple hours ago and a few parts appear to still be my natural hair color, and the overall color isn't much different. My hair is blonde, so to my knowledge, it should've worked well. I made sure that all of my hair was covered by the hair dye.
-Why is it that it didn't work?
-Should I have left the dye in longer?
-Would you recommend getting it professionally colored? Is it expensive? (If it matters, I'm fourteen)

After I wash my hair and it dries, I can't smell the nice smell of the shampoo, like I can on other people. Why is this? My husband can't smell it either and I can't smell it on him. I've noticed other people that retain the smell of the shampoo. I would like to, too.

I dyed my hair blue for halloween with a semi-permanent hair dye (its normally blond). The next day I washed it at least 10 times until it was a light blue, then I tried to dye over it with another brown semi-permanent dye. Now its just a dark olive green and I don't know what to do! I look so rediculous...
