Hi. My bro has natural wavy/slight curly hair. Hes wanting to grow it out some ( he usually keeps it short) & he wants to grow it out to see what he looks like. It looks like a afro after it dries from a shower, so he wears a baseball cap for a few hours that helps to flatten it down. Is there anyway to get his hair straight ( he wants it to come down past his eyes) besides using a straightener?

plz help.

There's no other way apart from a straightener,
If you brother thinks it's " gay " to use a straightener tell him it isn't, Millions of men use straighteners all around the world.
If buying a straighteners an issue, you can get them really cheap.
Nothing else will make your hair straight like a straightener can.

Oh ohkay, well my brother has the same kind of hair your brother does, curly with a slight wave.. He uses a ceramic straigtner. When you use this, take small sections and slowly move the straightner down the ends. Maybe your straightner jusst has the metal plates - that will not work.

i've got the solution to his problem. for real. i have the exact same type of hair...even the length. use the garnier fructis leave in conditioner.....it solves the problem COMPLETELY. and its not expensive. just dab a little bit while ur hair is wet, comb, shake and ur done.

i know a guy with rally curly hair that wears it long. he has to put lots of gel in his hair to keep it from frizzing then wears it in a pony tail. it' s really cute!
