Ok I am 15, but my arm is already dark with hair. I used a hair trimmer with a small clip attached and it took some hair out. My arms still have a good amount of hair on them, just when I grab them I can't twist them(that's how hairy my arm was). Some areas I still can do that because the trimmer did not get all of it. The thing is though, my mom told me that i'm an idiot because my skin will no longer be soft and it will have bumps because the natural softness is gone and I will just have thick hair. If I stop now, only having done it once, will it grow back thicker or appear thicker?

Don't trim it!!! Every time you do that, it will get thicker, and based on experience, it's true. people say its a myth, but i think it's different for all people...trust me, this happened to one of my friends. And there's nothing wrong with a guy having hairy arms. A hairy guy's better than a pale, "chickeny" guy.

do no longer trim it, wax it, or use cream hair removals. it particularly is going to purely becoming returned and strengthen returned greater! Have Laser Hair removal carried out. it works splendidly and remains long previous. the cost is significantly much less then it grew to become right into some years in the past. notwithstanding for the 1st few years think ofyou've have been given to bypass returned in as quickly as a year.

You could try bleaching it. If you have light skin it may be less noticable.

And your hair won't grow back thicker. That's a myth. I don't know who came up with it or why anyone would believe it but it's so wrong. It may look thicker because it's new growth so you have nothing to compare it to or because the hair at the ends isn't as old so it hasn't thinned out yet, but the hair itself hasn't become thicker.

No, the hair on your harms will not grow back darker or thicker.I've been removing my arm hair for over 17 years and it still grows back the same. So if anybody would know the answer to your question it would be me,even if you shaved it off, waxed, plucked it out or used Nair,it would still grow back the same.

Just go to the drug store and get yourself an exfolliator, like the ladies use on their legs. It is a lotion and you put it on your arms, then when the hair has melted, you shower it off. They even have exfolliators that inhibit the regrowth of hair.
