how about a rich copper low light's, if you do want to cut you hair why not look through some hair mags for some ideas but be sure before you take the plunge and find a good hairdresser take a look at the juniors in the salon to see what styles and cuts they have if they all have short the main hairdresser will probably cut your shorter than you want it..
why not try keeping the length and have some feathering down the sides but take a look around you and see if you like any style on friends or strangers and ask them which hairdresser they use.
good luck but once you cut it the first time you'll see that you may get shorter and shorter and a little more adventurous with your style and colours.
my was too my bum for years had 4 inches cut off the length 9 yrs ago and now its been short shoulder length blond ginger and all different styles, have some fun and enjoy pampering yourself

Do not have a fringe!
Assuming it's all one length now, I'd suggest having the sides cut at an angle from just below your jaw line to your elbow in order to frame your face (remember Jennifer Aniston in Friends?) and have bright blonde highlights throught the 'frame and crown' but not underneath as it will wreck your hair

THE LONG AND SHORT
Oval shaped faces look terrific with this style. It adds amazing body and life to fine, straight hair. For waves, it has a rocker vibe
Tell your hairstylist :to: Keep layers long in back and choppy all around. This cut is all about movement. Add heavy, uneven bangs. They can be tucked behind ears or left in front of face.

you can pretty much get away with any hairstyle since any would suit an oval face. i had the same situation just recently, i got mine layered with a side fringe cause a with layered hair you can pretty much do anything. but remember to not have the layers cut too short. as with your hair, what colour is it? if u can mention ur hair colour, that would be great!

You should get layers cut only around the front of your head no shorter than neck length (so you can keep the back long). I would go with reddish brown highlights so that it can look stunning yet natural.

Leave it long and try some highlights with deep red and light brown. It will look cool with the 3 different colors...

if you are oval most cuts will suit. reds are nice, will add warmth and texture. You could try layering & a fringe to get more volume
