Hair - November 2006

Every time I ask to get my hair highlighted the foil it. I would not mind excepted, the is a sizable price differences. I Have thick Curly hair and I try to keep it on the long side.

I am a 17 year old girl and I really need a color change for my graduation. I have dark brown hair,hazel eyes and fair skin. A friend told me that I should go platinum blonde. Should I do it?
If not, which color do you recommend?

I'd love to hear from people who have dyed their hair with natural dyes and/or henna.
I'm blonde, and I've used Naturcolor to dye my hair dark brown, and it worked pretty well. Any other recommendations?
Stories about henna, especially blondes going to dark??

I have noticed that Oprah has several different hairstyles. They are all pretty but what I'm wondering is if they are wigs or hairpieces that her own hair is combed in with. Sometimes I think I notice a different color or texture in the front than in the rest of the hair. What do you think?

Does Pantene Pro V make your hair grow faster???
I'm a short girl like 5'3 & my hair is to my shoulders & I want it to down to my chest.
How long will it take to get down to my chest if I wash my hair with shampoo & conditioner twice a week with Pantene Pro V or a differen't kind of shampoo or condtioner?????

does anyone know of a good website that will teach me how to trim men's hair? if not does anyone know how to? if so will you please let me know how? i need to cut my bf's hair tomorrow and i'm nervous because cutting men's hair is A LOT different than cutting women's hair.

I have my hair highlighted or the roots touched up about every 5-6 weeks. My hair is really dry and I wear some layers in it that look dry and kind of frizzy even when I use the straightening iron on it. Any shampoo/conditioner, or any other treatment suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. I have been using Redken Extreme products that haven't helped much.

I need to get my roots bleached, I want my peek-a-boos to be a little bit bigger(more bleaching) and they need to be dyed purple again. My problem is that I'm short for cash.. Should I get it done at a beauty college or is that a recipe for disaster?
