I straightened my hair about three months ago and it's still straight. Asians are good with the straightening stuff since they were the first one to introduce it to the market. I went to a Korean hair salon to get it straightened. This was my second time doing it and I haven't regretted it at all. The price was also reasonable. My hair is long (past the shoulders) and I only had to pay around $160. Plus it's guaranteed to last six months. But when I did it a few years ago, it lasted about a year plus or minus a few months and I wash my hair daily too. The korean hair salons know it as "Magic Straight." Totally worth it.

just go have it straightened at a hair salon. my salon had a thing called magic straight and it stays straight for about 6 months. it's really good, and you don't really have to take a long time drying your hair cuz it stayes straight no matter what. after about 6 months it starts becomeing kinda loose and if you had originaly curly hair, it starts comeing back up again/ then you have to do it again. it's about $40 where i had it done, but it's worth it!

I did...once at a salon, and once with the at home kit. Do not use the at home kit. It damaged my hair so badly it was breaking at the scalp and looked BAD for months.

At the salon, my hair stayed pretty straight for the first week, but after that, I still had to use an iron to keep it stick straight. Didn't damage it too badly though. I had to repeat the process in about 5 weeks to keep it straight.

I have it done all the time and as long as you use a deep conditioner at least once a week you shouldn't have a problem. Conditioning is the key with any type of chemicals in your hair.

Yeah it worked for about 3 weeks for me, my hair was really soft and smooth, after the 3 weeks it was back to the old curly hair again.
I wouldn't do it if I were you, it is not worth the money!
