You can go to a good beautician and straighten your hair using chemical. It will straighten your hair temporarily because when new hair will grow, the root of hair will become curly again. But when you straighten your hair, it will completely change your look. It looks terrific! My sister have very curly hair and when she did it, she looked great. It wasn't flat at all. She had a great volume. But finally its not good for your hair.Chemical makes your hair weak. Once you do it, you'll like it so much that you will do it again and again.
I've told all the pros and cons of it! Now you should decide.

I straighten my hair every day in the mornings for school. You can straighten it without making it flat by maybe boosting it with some spray or gel or some other hair product. Also, you can buy some heat resistant spray to protect your hair from damage and also from being too flat. Maybe after you straighten your hair, comb it out and sprits it with some spray to add some body to it. Hope this helps.

You can straighten it than wait about 10 minutes. Put your hair up in a high pony for 10 minutes while you do other stuff. Then when you take out the pony you will have volume to your hair but not too much!

When you blow dry your hair, don't blow it straight down. Use a round brush to pull the hair outward and make sure you get the roots while you have it in the brush, it will help it from just laying flat.
You should also try a volumizing mousse or hairspray. Paul Mitchell makes a really good volumizing hair spray.
