Beet colored. Deep red tint.

Tea, henna are both natural colorants. But none of them will last very long. Just enhance your own hair tones a bit.

How long can you wait for an answer?

I'm 56 and my auburn tresses have yet (knock on wood) to turn grey...now Gray's Anatomy, si si si but my 40's something friends hate my guts...it's hereditary, what can I say??? Like Ronald Reagan my papa died with black hair at 75...

But the moment I see any grey at my temples, I would love to try your beet juice (beetlejuice??) and see what happens.

P.S. When I was about 15 I tried to dye my hair auburn, thinking it would change the color. It did, but all it did was take out the highlights so I looked like I was wearing a wig...in those days wigs didn't have "highlights"

PPSS. Also have tried henna, about a year ago to see if it would give me red highlights. Alas, no, and I had very organic henna.

Okay FYI this is only a temporary hair dye. It's going to add a dark red tint to your natural color. For example, if your hair is black it will look burgundy. If you have blonde hair I don't recommend doing this because your hair will turn the Crayola color violet-red. It's not becomming on lighter hair! It produces the best effects on a dark brown and turns it a pretty shade of dark cinnamon.

If you get the common auburn highlights, that could customarily appear well. I do not fairly recognize approximately the opposite facet, however you will have to customarily simply get some thing from a shop.
