Your hair will typically grow an inch a month. I use Pantene a lot, and I'm not sure, but it might be true that it does make hair grow a bit faster. I don't believe that you need to wash or condition your hair with special vitamins. A lot of the salon products are much more expensive and not at all better than Pantene. Take a B-vitamin suppliment daily, including folic acid and biotin, or go to your local pharmacy and get some special hair vitamins. I think both Eckerd and CVS carry them.

The type of shampoo you use has NOTHING to do with how fast your hair will grow. It can enhance the hair you already have by making it healther, thus preventing breakage or split ends. The only thing that would make your hair grow faster is good nutrition and exercise like the other person mentioned. If you body is healthy and you are getting the proper nutrients it makes your cell growth more efficient.
The cheap shampoos you buy in most stores are not as good as the more expensive ones. They are cheap for a reason because they use cheaper chemicals and include less natural beneficiaries for the hair.

Don't use Pantene ever it is full of silicone and will wreck you hair. (I know this because my sister is a hairdresser)
The best way to make your hair grow faster if to keep it in good condition but getting regular trims and to use a good quality shampoo, conditioner & treatment brought from a professional salon.
Good luck!

Absolutely not. I am a hairstylist of 20+ years, and if you want something to do something like that you won't find it in a grocery store for one thing. But, you can get shampoo with vitamin B included at the nutrition stores, and some salons and beauty supply stores. The vitamins/nutrients most responsible for this are B, Biotin, and E. But good nutrition and exercise, is most important for all cell growth including hair ! Good luck !

No it's not the shampoo that will make your hair grow faster. Maybe try taking a great multivitamin.

No, it will not change anything. Just drink plenty of water and eat from every food group.
