Hair - October 2006

I have my hair cut to my shoulders it is blonde and I wanted something a little different. I was thinking about getting the very tips on my ends died dark brown or black. I know it is hard to explain but some of the styles now have darker underneath and like halfway down, I was just wondering if this could look professional at all?

I have had stupid waist lenghth hair since i was like 6 or7 and i have only been allowed to "trim" it which in my moms mind a quarter of a inch! I feel like i should take matters into my own hands! I've wanted to have shoulder lenght hair since i was 8 should i do it? Right now?

and the top part of my hair now as gone straight even when i wash it and put wax or mousse on it its still straight apart from the bottom is there anything i can do as i want my locks back cheers.

I am a guy and had a body perm last Saturday. The hairdresser said that blowdrying my hair would be damaging and also would maybe make the perm drop out too quickly, so she said it was better to dry my hair under a hood dryer or let it dry natural. So she put my hair on larger rollers and then dried it under a dryer. Now I need to wash my hair at home. My older sister says that if I don't put my hair in rollers the hair may dry more tighter curls if I just leave it to dry naturally. Is this true? She said she could roll it for me, but we don't have a hood dryer.She thinks it best to let the hair dry natural on the rollers. How long would that take?

I m a blonde and had my hair dyed brown, it faded to a orangey red color it was pretty but, i dyed it back blonde.

so Blonde hair, Red hair, or burnette....

just the hair not the person ok. i know looks dont matter but first impressions is what i am going for.

I know it depends on the individuals hair type.....but how often do you wash your hair? I wash mine everyday, as it always goes lank and feels greasy the day after I've washed it.
Have you any tips or could you recommend a good shampoo & conditioner?
