Hair - October 2006

My mum and myself have told him that he should let us cut some layers into before roller setting roller his hair with small rollers to see if he would be able to live with a perm.

we have also told him that he may need to roller set his hair after getting a perm if he feels that his curls are to tight following the perm as my mum has permed hair and often roller sets it at home for the first few weeks after her hair has been permed.

he has aked me to post this question first to see how many people agree or disagree with our idea.

iv tried a metylated shampooo and revlon flex conditioner so far and the stink is reduced but..... it still stinks..have a big date tomo!!!!

well im in college and im noticing that some people are going bald already!! so weird. this guy I went to high school with is 21 and hes gone completely bald on top (with hair on the sides).

i cant help but notice my father and my grandfather both had receding hairlines. So how many more years do i have to live the good life? what can be done about it?

i want the perfect curly messy bun, but my hair is really thick. wenever i put it in a bun it looks really big...my cuzin cut her hair and her bun looks fine now (she has thick hair too) but i dont wanna cut my hair cuz wenever i striaghten it, it looks really good at the length that it is. wat do u think i should do? and do u thick that buns that look alittle big are ugly?

my mom and i had a hard time using the curling irons stuffs. honestly, we both don't know how to use it..we got the plain curling irons and the spiral ones.how do i use them both? are they effective enough ? will they last long? or is it more better to switch to hot curlers? if yes, what is the best brand yet a cheap one but worth of your money? thanks a lot!

I once seen a hair dye and really liked the colour the woman on the box had. It was chestnut brown but now if i look for a chestnut brown hair dye its not the same colour as i seen before. could anyone send a link of a picture of a really nice 'chestnut brown' colour? or even tell me the name of a celebrity with chestnut brown hair and i will google it. i googled chestnut brown but the colour i was looking for wasnt there.

I no this question gets asked alot so i did look for some that had been asked before and didn't find one which matches me.
Ok my hair is naturally light golden brown.
I dyed it mahogany a few weeks ago.
It was tempoary and is now wash out,
Iv had blonde in my hair twice before and i didn't like it.
I liked the mahogany but want something diffrent.
So for thoose of you who know stuff about colouring. What colour should i go for this time?

I have really long hair (extensions)
Side swept bangs
My skin colour is like a 'Biege' colour
My eyes are blue (medium)
And um my eyebrows are light brown (If that even matters lol)

This is probably a dumb question. I used to get a "skin temp" up north for a haircut. i just recently moved to florida, and they dont know what that is. For anyone knows what a skin temp is would it be the same thing as a fade?

ok so i just came out of the shower like 3 minutes ago, and i need my hair to stay this way for the rest of the day without poofing and frizzing. i want the "wet look" and i need it for a long time rite now....if any1 can help pleeeeeeeeez do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
