Temp?Fade?

This is probably a dumb question. I used to get a "skin temp" up north for a haircut. i just recently moved to florida, and they dont know what that is. For anyone knows what a skin temp is would it be the same thing as a fade?

I am from Indiana moved to florida .. a skin temp in Indiana is the same as a fade in Florida.
