my mom and i had a hard time using the curling irons stuffs. honestly, we both don't know how to use it..we got the plain curling irons and the spiral ones.how do i use them both? are they effective enough ? will they last long? or is it more better to switch to hot curlers? if yes, what is the best brand yet a cheap one but worth of your money? thanks a lot!

Curling irons are okay to use if they are used properly and only once in a while,
protect hair by using hair products with heat protection, and use products that offer extra hold,

Use tongs on dry hair, start at the back, wind hair around, when curl forms remove tongs...
TIP: dont let the curl just drop hold it or if you can wind it up towards the scalp still in the shape the tong has formed and put a clip in it ( you can buy little clips that wont dent the curl in superdrug) do this all to all the hair, spritz with a bit of hair spray let settle and let hair cool then remove clips from neck up, then style, try not to break curls up too much as it will frizz!

as long as your not going mad dancing your curls should last the night

Good Luck

Repeat do not use anything anything heated on your hair,

If you require curls use good old fashioned hair rollers or thin rods to create spiral curls, If you have time try to let your hair air dry, or invest in a soft hood dryer and use a low heat setting to set your hair

I am against curling irons , rods or anything that curls the hair using heat or hot . it drys the hair and makes it brittle after a while. I have seen a lot of girls with messed up hair ...
