i cant help but notice my father and my grandfather both had receding hairlines. So how many more years do i have to live the good life? what can be done about it?

This depends on several things; genetics and wearing hats. I know a guy who was bald by the age of 21 and I know some men who are in their 70's or 80's with a full head of hair. If a guy wears hats all of the time - he will gold bald sooner than a guy who does not wear a hat (presuming of course he does not go bald until his 70's or 80's due to his genetics). Anymore I see lots of girls wearing baseball hats and they will more than likely go through the same thing. My mother has hardly any hair on the top of her head (she wears wigs now), my sister has had a really high (in the front) hair line; this began in her 30's. I'm beginning to see thinning, on the top front, now. I've heard there is a process where they take healthy hair from the back of your head and transplant it where you need it the most - I've thought about this but I don't know the cost of it.

That's entirely up to genetics. Since your father and grandfather both have receding hair lines, ask them at what age that occured for them and you should have a pretty good idea about how much longer you have to live the good life as you call it. Don't freak out about it too much, I find most bald men very attractive.

It varies,,It all depends on the genes. usually if you are to go bald it will be in the 30s and 40s that it thins but it can start sooner.
Many men don't go bald but those who do in my family it took about 15 years till the little whisps on top were too thin to comb over.

There are also a few diseases that can couse hair loss too.

It's based on genetics. If you want to know whether or not a guy will start loosing his hair, take a look at his dad and grandpas (or pictures of them).

it varies and its based on hereditary . Not all men who get bald start losing their hair at the same age.

i was about 21 when i started to lose my hair and now iam completely bald, but i dont even worry about it anymore.a person needs to worry more about whats going on inside their bodies, then their hair.

ask your dad and grandfather when they started losing their hair. being bald doesn't mean your good life is over, most guys are sexy bald..
