I have heard that shampoo Vive is pretty good for hair,but some of the people say that it has many chemichals that damage our hair,and brings hairloss.So,what is true?I have thin hair no volume.

I have thin hair at the top of my head. (Not balding, but you can kind of see my scalp.) I have looked for a sunscreen product for the scalp, but it doesn't seem to exist. Aside from staying out of the sun or wearing a hat (obvious answers) what else can I do? I love to swim and can't wear a hat in the pool. I have tried applying regular sunscreen to my scalp with a Q-tip, but then my hair looks all greasy and it's just annoying. Help.

I don't really want to bleach it first as i'm afraid that will hurt my hair.
But i really want to dye my hair. I've tried, LIVE, nicky clark and L'oreal. I can't think of anything else.
How can i lighten my hair without damaging it?

I want to change/dye my hair before school starts again, but i have no clue what to do, and im kind of picky about the way it gets done. I have had pink, blue, black, all kinds of shades of reddish fuchia and such, and i currently have purple underneath. i have about 6 inch dark brown roots, that i would like to leave alone--the only part i want to dye over is the part thats already damaged. It would probably need to be something that can go over the purple, because i dont want to bleach it, and i dont like going to salons (to get it stripped). if anybody has and ideas on what i should do with my hair, please let me know. :):):)

ok long story here, im hair mad ,also do glamour modelling so i cannot leave my hair alone, it used to be lng and beautiful before i started using strong straighteners on it!!!! about 3 mnths ago i decided tohighlight it then again then agiain within a week then i blonded it all over, my hair was not in very good condition anyway because of the straightenein ide done to it adn its very dark so the peroxide ruined it evan more, i decided to put brown over it and it was in dreadfull condition and its wellll short now!!!!! ive had to put red in my hair toget the pigments back and shine but its still very dull and dry and just wont grow!!!i stopped using straighteners about 2 mnths ago now and i still have to color it because the peroxide still keeps comming through slightlyand is making it so dry and brittle i have tryed all kinds of hair products to make it go i nice again, and i know it wont get better over nite......but does any1 have any good tips how to help it grow faster ????
