I brushed my "caterpillar holton dark brown Steel Toe boots" with shaving foam and then brushed them off with water, now they look a very light brown with certain parts of the boots looking darker with the original dark brown color.

I did not even slightly suspect they used dyes to color the leather, anything I can do to resolve my problem I.e. Restore the dark brown color and how? Looking for a simple fix that will give positive results.

My hair is a dark brown (it has faded since I dyed my hair black). I want to change my hair style, platinum blonde with black bangs (since I have dark eyebrows). I was wondering what the best and fast way is to achieve this? WITHOUT going to a salon, because I know that's what everyone will tell me. Is there a way to do this without bleaching/stripping? I'm terrified of ruining my hair or losing it. But if anyone knows a kind of stripping without bleach that will not damage my hair that I could actually purchase, please do tell me. But I'd like to try to get this done within a little more than a month. I know I more than likely won't be able to get PLATINUM blonde at first, but is there a fast and SAFE way I could get to some sort of blonde? I just don't want to lose my hair.. so please, any suggestions, without the help of the salon. The salon in my town is SERIOUSLY over priced and they ripped me off the last time I went.
Could I dye my hair a light brown, then blonde later on?

Has anybody tried a shampoo that works good? My hair has NEVER been oily before, but about two weeks ago, it has started to get oily where my natural hair is growing in. I had died my hair a lot, so I decided to let my natural hair grow out. Well, it is out about 6 inches, and most of it is now oily near the front and roots. The rest of my hair is just fine. What can I do???

Ok ever since I was 13 I started drawing my eyebrows. Now that I'm 23 I don't have time to do that and I look unprofessional. My eyebrows are naturally really thin. Never really had a lot of hair on them... So I want to regrow them to the point where I don't need to draw them in or fill in with a pencil. I want to be able to go out to the market or wherever without having to draw my eyebrows first. Anyone have any suggestions? Also, I want to start waxing my eyebrows... anybody know a painless way? I'm going out tonight with my boyfriend and a bunch of his friends, i'm looking for a new way to do my hair..i have medium length, blonde thick thick hair. What constitutes Thick and what constitutes fat? Is thick the same as chubby? (When you think of an ideal body size for yourself what would it be? UK dress size please!)

My sister is conventially pretty - normal looking, straight hair, small nose, decently proportioned face, a "pretty" girl, but nothing special. For me, it would be a stretch to call me pretty (in my opinion) but people never just look at me once - they say that I look 'striking' - my face isn't conventionally pretty - my nose isnt perfectly small, and I have a strong jaw and kinda high cheekbones, im also pretty tall - i don't look like all the identical beach blondes with their perfect noses and artificial tans. Would you rather be conventionally pretty (like my sis) or be striking looking but not match today's standard of beauty?

I have acrylic nails on my fingernails and don't know how to remove them or have them re-done. The manicure was a Mother's Day gift and was the first time I got a maniciure with acrylic nails. I don't want to go back to the same salon because they were too rough when filing my nails ~ they filed into 3 of my fingers (ouch) and didn't even apologize. Anyway, my real nails are growing out and it doesn't look too nice at this point in time.
