I have weak ankles when I wear nice looking shoes so I live in tennis shoes. They are comfortable to wear but I have one problem. After wearing them all day; it hurts at the top of both feet because I have high arches. My mother-in-law says that there is a special way to lace shoes like those. Anybody know how to do it?

I have been growing my locs for about 2 years. It took about a year and a half for my locs to lock. I have really soft hai. I started with the comb twist method and the salon that I went to used black/brown gel and as a result I have a build-up residue in my locs. Do you know of any products to remove buildup in locs. What are some good gels, waxes, products to use on soft hair for keeping hair twisted. I can get my hair twisted on Monday and by Friday I need to get it retwisted....I wrap my head when i go to sleep and when i get in the shower. I need something to help with the frizzies on the loc and keeping the new growth twisted. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

does it bother you when the tattoo artist looks up tattoos on the net? i like it when they draw somethin up, for me it show thats not only can they tattoo, they have an artistic sense about them.

Are my wife and I the only people in the country who find these shoes incredibly silly/ugly looking? I'm not sure how many people I have seen in flourescent green or orange ones that just make me wonder - did they really look in the mirror and say, "wow, now these are cool." When I first saw them I thought - maybe in the privacy of your back yard while doing the gardening but walking down the middle of a busy town? C'mon!

Ok I have a HUGE tat on my waist. It was suppised to be a cross yet they made it sideways and looked like an X then went to go get it fixed and looked like an even bigger X. Now it lookes like a huge black blob. Has anyone had the skin colored ink and went over the old tat? does it work? Please help its made me so self concious! I wont even put on a bathing suit

what you wear is important in the work arena, plain and simple. Now, I'm not talking about the fact that women know more about fashion than men. Im talking about how a lot of women i've noticed are dressing way too sexy at work. I'm talking about tighter pants, form fitting shirts, sexy heels, showing more skin, etc.. It just seems like men can't dress to kill in the same way women can. Nothing against the women, but it disturbs me bc all the "higher ups" are older men. Look, business casual was designed so you can be more relaxed, not so you can go to the club after work without going home first to change.

I've already gotten a breast enlargement. I went from a small B cup to a C cup. I still wear "cutlets" though because I desperatly want to be a "DD"! Why am I so obsessed? I have a tiny frame and the Dr. couldn't give me much bigger without risking looking very fake. My friend is pregnant and she's got a DD now and I'm so jealous! People laugh and say "Yes but she's like 6 months pregnant, she's big all over, silly!" Is a C cup big enough especially since I'm thin?

I want to peirce my belly button at home i can't afford 2 have it done profesionaly and my parents would neva let me evan though i'm old enough. I have a high pain tolorence. The only suplies i have 2 do its are: the jewlery, a cleaning ataseptic, a sewing needle and a saftey pin, and ice.

I can't spend the whole day at the beach. It's too boring. I used to do it. I also am beginning to get the signs of growing up on Lake Michigan and spending every waking minute at the beach since being a baby. I'm getting those age spots on my chest and shoulders. I know, I need to be careful especially being a fair skinned blond but I look SO MUCH better with a tan! Anyways, if I go to the beach from like 11 A.M. till 1 A.M atleast 5 days a week, will I get a good tan? I tan fairly easily inspite of being fair. I'm using SPF 4 because it's like they don't make SPF free stuff anymore!
