8TH GRADE!?!?!?!?!? So because you're around 14 years old you have the right and permission to put a hole in your body that WILL get infected and might cause illness??? I highly doubt your parents said it was OK but given the lack of great parenting skills these days I'm also NOT surprised. Give me a break... you're in 8th grade and there is no way you can tolerate the pain of your own peircing and especially not in such a sensitive area with just a sewing needle. Which btw you mispelled "sewing" :-) Stay in school and don't do something so ridiculous.

Sorry, there's no instructions I could give because there's no way of doing it with those tools. You need a much thicker hole than you'd get with a sewing needle or safety pin, the belly bars are about 10 times as thick.
Even if you did manage to skewer yourself with something, it wouldn't be straight! I had to have mine done twice because it wasn't straight and she was a professional! You might as well save up your money and just pay, go somewhere cheap like a market and save yourself looking stupid and being in lots of pain.

don't be a fool my daughter had her tragus done when underage and the place that did it put them in the wrong place and they got infected, so it wasn't clean either. We had to go get antibiotics then go beg a pro piercer to take them out because the Dr said she could lose her hearing because of the placement. Infection was so very painful and we were lucky the guy took them out for us because we couldn't get the jewelry out. Instead of being a fool about doing this because you may do it wrong and then have a scar because of it and you will want to hide your belly go get a job and save up to have it done right. When your parents find out you have done this they can and if they are smart will make you remove it.

Listen to everybody else! DON'T DO IT! It is really not as simple as you think and you are seriously going to regret it if it goes wrong. It's not like piercing your own ears and the chances of you messing up and it not looking right and not to mention infection, are extremely high!

And all these people aren't against you by telling you not to do it, we are trying to save you from making a huge mistake. Most of these people probably already have it done and know exactly what they are talking about!

Judging by your misspelling of commonly used words, you are only about 8 years old and obviously not mature enough to handle this yourself.

In short, go get this done professionally. Navel piercing, incorrectly done, can be downright dangerous.

that is a really bad idea, just save up some money and get it done professionally, i guarentee it would become infected from you peircing it yourself, but hey thats ur problem!

If you are old enough to get your naval pierced you should first, learn how to spell. Then you should get a job and pay to have it pierced by a professional. Good luck!

It only costs about $50 to go to a shop... maybe you should just get it done professionally!
