Ok ever since I was 13 I started drawing my eyebrows. Now that I'm 23 I don't have time to do that and I look unprofessional. My eyebrows are naturally really thin. Never really had a lot of hair on them... So I want to regrow them to the point where I don't need to draw them in or fill in with a pencil. I want to be able to go out to the market or wherever without having to draw my eyebrows first. Anyone have any suggestions? Also, I want to start waxing my eyebrows... anybody know a painless way? Thank you!

Don't touch your brows at all. Stash your tweezers. Only pluck hairs a bit under the brow bone if you must. Allow your brows to fill in as much as possible so you can have a fresh start.

You can use clear brow gel or mascara to tame them as they grow back.

Wait at least 8 weeks before getting your brows waxed by a professional. Why?

Because:
1) waxing weakens hair follicles too & you already have sparse brows
2) to give the technician something to work with for a more natural look
3) don't DIY - proper waxing takes practice & you don't want to risk making things works (i.e. It's harder to be precise so you may take off too much.)

Regrow, Regrow. Hmmm...Patience? Is that an option? Sorry hun, but there isn't any 'magical potion' that can make your 'brows spring to life. First thing you can do is STOP whatever you're doing that makes you have to draw in your eyebrows. Ceasing this will give them a break and let the hair follicles re-grow naturally.

Unfortunetly, there is no painless way to wax. Plucking with a tweezers can make them uneven and it's hair, by hair, removal way (ouch!). There is Laser Hair removal, which is expensive (starting at $200 in most salons) but only is a one-time deal. If you do start to wax regularly, you need to keep doing it every 2 weeks, and $15+, Laser Hair removal may be a better option. If you get it cheap, after about 7 monthes, it will turn out to be less expensive than waxing, and less painful.

If they are naturally thin, then I do not know of a way to make mre hair grow then what you had before. But, if you just want the hair you had to grow back, do not touch your eyebrows except to draw them in for now. Let your eyebrows grow for about 1 month. When you have them all back go to a salon with a picture and have them wax your eyebrows (it is not painful). While you are growing them, if they grow where you do not want them to be while you are trying to grow them in, do not pluck or shave them! Use concealer on them to lighten the appearence of them until you are ready to have them waxed.

STOP TWEEZING OR SHAVING. IF YOU'RE THAT SELF CONCIOUS ABOUT THE TIME IN BETWEEN WHEN THEY'RE NOT GROWN OUT YET, CUT SOME BANGS TO COVER THEM UP. MY SISTER HAS HER EYEBROWS THREADED OR STRINGED (I'M NOT SURE WHAT IT'S CALLED) BUT THEY LOOK VERY NICE.
