I remember reading somewhere that "hair, makeup, and pretty clothes make a pretty girl." I think that this is just not true. What do you think makes a pretty person? Is it outwards appearance, or more than that?

There was this girl I went to school with. I always thought she was the MOST georgeous girl I had ever seen in my life. I mean, she was just amazing. Well, I finally got to talking to her one year we had math together. As soon as that girl opened her mouth she became a very ugly person to me. She was always saying something bad about someone, always wanting to fight other girls.. her personality and language just made her very undesirable. I think most has to do with personality. I think that alone can make you a very attractive or unnatractive person.

Beauty goes beyond outward appearance. How can a person with flawless features, perfect weight and height but who is very rude, selfish and uncaring be attractive? Beauty really does involve personality and behaviour. As for physical appearance, if someone takes care of themselves then I think they're fine just the way they are!

Everyone is beautiful in there own way. There are certain characteristics to flaunt and not flaunt. To find the best look for you just look at some magazines with same face shape, hair, body. Try some different looks. Every single woman out there has something about them that will drive men crazy. The hard part is just figuring it out! I hope i helped/

all i know is that i hav been called beautiful and gorgeous a lot but i hav also realized eventually everyones looks fade and if u dont hav a good personality to go with it than your left with nothing. thats why its so important to me that a person is not only beautiful on the outside but also the inside and i know that sounds like some corny thing u hear in a stupid movie but its actually true. and looks wise ther r sooo many different types of beautiful along with ethnicities...

in my opinion, what makes someone pretty is there personality..if they are honest, trustworthy, funny, caring, kind and i can go on forever! Sure everyone has seen somone in a magazine and wa slike wow she's pretty, i wish my hair or eyes or makeup looked like hers but truthfully she might be the ugliest person ever because she's a total b****.. ha just my opinon..

A symmetrical face is known in Evolutionary Psychology to be attractive, because symmetry is known to be good health and good for reproduction.
Also, confidence makes a person beautiful.

well hair,make up and clothes make a girl pretty but thre is more such thing that could make a girl pretty. pretty in the way they act, pretty in the way they smile, pretty in the way of having a positive attitude and pretty in the way of being good and honest
