i used to have long, pretty hair but i started having problems w/ it about a year ago. now it is dryer, i have minor flakes and split ends, it breaks easily, barely grows at all. I use great products, dont blowdry often, and get it clipped regularly, but i use a hot iron straightener, though it never hurt my hair before. so really what im asking is not whats causing this...but what can fix it.....i need it to grow out!!! are there any products that can help (price not an issue btw) or anything else, i would like it to grow out to be the beautifully long shiny hair i once had!! plz help!

I have dyed my hair light blonde since I was 14 and had not seen my natural color in 10 years. Then I had a hair dye accident and ruined my hair, so I let it grow out for a year and a half. Finally, I had all of the dyed part cut off a couple of weeks ago, but now I feel ugly. Should I dye it light blonde again or get hightlights, or do you think it looks pretty now? I kind of like it being so healthy but I hate my natural color. Don't worry about offending me, just be honest...thank you.

when people staighten their hair it always shiny and silky, but when i straighted my hair its just me normal hair but straight.people say they put stuff in their hair. if you can can u tell me what i should put in my hair to make it silky and shiny or wat shamppoo to use?

I take a shower every morning before school. My whole schedule in fixing my hair is blowdrying it and then straightening it. Afterwards, my hair is totally flat with no volume or anything. Is there a way to change that without stopping straightening my hair?

I went to get my hair colored today, and my operator whom I've known for approximately 24-27 yrs. did a BEAUTIFUL job.something happened that has never happened in the whole time (since 1999) that I've had her help me color my hair. When I got home, there was a small amount of dye down the front of my blouse and a medium amount down the left side. The blouse is cotton / polyester. I left a message for my operator who suggested Spray -N- Wash OR permanent solution from a box kit ( Toni, Lilt, etc.). Before I try the Shout that we normally use to try to remove the stain ( I don't want to spend money on a box perm just for the solution--but I listened with ears to my beautician's advice), I wondered if any other beauticians or hair color "guru's" could offer any solution(s), pardon the pun, to my problem? SERIOUS REPLIES ONLY PLEASE. Thanks!

Ive been waiting for over a year or less and they are taking long to grow back i dont know why!... i used to curl my eyelashes like 4 years ago and i dont curl them anymore nor put mascara, and they are taking long to grow. I used to curl them hard everyday and i noticed that they were starting to come off! please can somebody give me advice on what to do? Right now i only got alittle bit of eyelashes and im getting unpatient cuz i dont know whats taking them so long. what could the reason be? cuz i wanna put on mascara really badly! :(

is this stuff good to use??? i bought shade 19 golden giggle and i have previous highlights and colored hair so how long do i leave it in for?? the sheet says 25 but that seems somewhat long for colored hair.

My hair breaks easily and doesn't seem to grow as fast as it used to. I used to have hair that would grow like crazy and THICK. I'm 31 and wondering if it's my age. I don't dye it alot and when I do it's usually just the roots and it's with a dye that doesn't contain ammonia or that harsh crap. Ok, so I used to have bangs that go straight across my face, but I got sick of that, so i parted them to one side, trying to kinda have side swept bangs. That didnt work though, and my bangs just kind of sit there like a clump of hair now. Does anyone know how I can make them blend in more, so it makes it look like my bangs are just part of my hairstyle?

im about to try a new kind of makeup....i.d. bare minerals, i know that it is expenisve, but idc if it works well like its supposed to. if uve used it: about how long did it last before u needed more? how "pure" did it feel? was it worth the price? OR: i know there are other, cheaper, versions of it out there, but idk if they work as well....do they? [and what are they?] i really want to try it but not if it will clog my pores, cause acne problems (which i dont have knock on wood) or make me look like i have layers and layers on {or run out of it after just a few weeks of use....} so what r ur opinions
