Hi! I am a 22-year old graduate student. Lately I realised that the way I dress is dull and really plain. I am in a kind of a rut, which is really sad because two years ago I was realy into fashion and style! Everyday I'll wear jeans and a t-shirt or sweater... I am attending my male best friend's bachelor party in a few weeks. The agenda for the evening is drinks/dinner at a higher class hotel bar following by the typical trip to a strip club (boys will be boys). I am clueless as to what to wear. Whilst in my local shopping centre the other day I overheard a vacuous conversation being had between two girls standing near me - one of them said to the other "Oh yeah, *man's name* he's got well good style cause he buys only label clothing...".

Being a total vintage clothing junkie who takes a lot of grief from the local chavs and townies for the way I present myself, my opinion is that it doesn't matter about where you obtain your clothes from (it could be vintage clothing shops, ebay, charity shops, high street, label stores), if you aren't a dipsh*t, know how to match styles and colours, have an eye for what looks good and ultimately feel confident with yourself, your style and what you are wearing, then that's what it's all about.

What are people's opinions?

I had posted this question a couple of days ago and recd sm responses. I posting the question again with the my reverts to the answers that I got.I NEED MORE RESPONSES PLS.A guy in our group is always playing pranks on us.We think its payback time now and are considering playing a prank on him by dressing up a guy as a girl and fixing a blind date with him.The idea is to make him take "her" to expensive retaurant, disco, etc and then finally revealing the truth.Do you think this is possible.What should "she" wear?We are from India so the outfits could be traditional Indian outfits or western.We do have a guy to play the girl.He has played female roles in school plays and so we know for a fact that he can look like a foxy chick.I dont think it he runs the risk of being kissed and fondled cos he can always say that he does not kiss on the first date.Should he dress sexy...as in revealing clothes or shd he dress modest?pls feel free to come up with alternative ideas of prank..

Do you think that everyone looks better with a tan?
I have blonde hair and usually use tanning salons quite regularly and also fake tan a couple of times a week. Over the last few weeks I have not used fake tan or been to a salon and my skin has gone quite pale, I dont know whether this suits me, and if it makes me look ill? Any opinions on this would be great!?
