Just curious guys do your sweaty socks smell like feet or like the shoes they came out of? Or a mixture of both? And the older the shoes gets does that make the smell change any? Actually my friend wore the same socks for 2 days on a camping trip they were lowcut white socks and I smelt them they smelt like new shoes not feet is this normal? Mine dont smell as good as that what is the reasoning for this?

I just got acrylic nails, the process wasn't painful, but now, several hours later, a few of them are killing me. They feel like they;re being pinched. Is this normal? will it go away?

I think they're adorable. I'm sort of obsessed with them. And if you look at some of the pictures on that website, it would seem you don't necessarily have to dress punk/goth/emo/whatever just to have a coordinated outfit. The tweed and angora ones look really cozy to me.

I have three pieces of clothing that I never know what to wear with.

One is a navy blue A-line skirt, another is a high-waisted, below-the-knee pencil skirt, and the other is a cordovan brown velvet blazer.

They are all good-quality items, but I never know what would look good with them and I wind up feeling silly when I wear them out. Help me put together an outfit!

im indian and i have silky dark hair.

its not like black...but its a very dark brown.

i want to lighten it, but without using damaging hair dyes.

sun-in and stuff like that will probably make my hair redder and thats what i dont want!

i want to make my hair browner, not redder. i dont know if you can understand what im trying to say...like when i go out into the sun my hair always looks a bit redder, thats just how the dakr brown lightens..is there anyways to make it a lighter brown!?!?

i was thinking about dying it, but it would be a real pain when my roots grow in...what should i do!?

Since going natural, the texture of my hair has changed pretty dramatically; from fine and thin, to thick and kinky. I usually use Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo, and condition with his The Detangler, and that worked great when my hair was relaxed, but I was just wondering if there was a shampoo and conditioner that would be even more beneficial to my hair in the state it's in now?

Btw...When I say natural, I just mean no relaxer, because my hair is color-treated too, if that makes any difference.

I got a terrble haircut about 2 weeks ago. The stylist did not listen to my wants at all and chopped it off (I just wanted a trim, she went from past my shoulders to inches above my chin), and also put on really short layer all the way around my head. You can see the top and bottom seperate no matter how I can think to style it. I went straight, looks like a mullet. I go curly, and the bottom does not go with the top at all.


I have a problem because tomorrow is a career fair. I was hoping to find a solution to this by now, because getting it fixed would require chopping my hair above my ears. I have a round face and I have tried this, and it looks awful. Does anyone have any styling suggestions? I need to look professional without looking like I have a mullet. I have naturally wavy red hair if that helps, with bangs cut to fall to one side and layered.

I'm a girl and I do not wear make-up every single day. Everyday, when I go to school, I see all sorts of girls wearing make-up (including my friends). I'm just wondering, why hide your faces? I understand that a lot of young girls wear it because they want to look cool and older. Also, I understand that adults think they look old or bad and want to look younger. A co-worker told me about a week ago that I can ruin my sneakers from not wearing any socks in them. I didn't believe her, because I have been wearing sneakers without socks for most of my life, and none of my sneakers never got ruined, except for the insoles turning yellow from aging. How can the sneakers be ruined? I do know that there are sneakers out there specificly made to be worn without socks, and those are the sneakers I normally buy. Is this true that sneakers can be ruined from not wearing socks, and what happens to them if they are ruined?

I want to get my cartilage pierced (on my upper ear). I plan on going to a clean, well respected studio, where they'll pierce it with a needle (not the gun!!!). But I've been reading horror stories about cauliflower ear and cartilage piercings gone bad. I really want to get it pierced, but I'm not sure about the risk. What are the chances that I'll get an infection?
