Which make up brand stay longer...?

every time i put make up on it goes away within 2 hours??? What brand last at least a little bit more... I dont know anything about make up..help please

First of all, figure out your skin type- it sounds like you may be a bit oily and some makeup may not stay. Buy foundation meant for oily skin type (or whatever your type is) I would suggest spending a little moola and going to a makeup counter- MAC, Lancome, Estee Lauder etc sells good stuff and you can get a bottle for around $30. Also, to make the foundation last longer, finish with loose powder. During the day, powder with a compact- I really like MAC Blotting Powder. For foundation I use Estee Lauder Equalizer ($32) which gives good coverage and is for combination skin (oily and dry areas.)

I don't wear makeup now but I remember when I did the more expensive department store brands stayed on much longer than the cheaper drugstore brands. This would be a good question for the gals at the cosmetics counters at Macys.

I am guessing you have oily skin. Use a foundation primer, then put on a liquid foundation, and dust over that with some powder. If you are on a budget, choose Maybelline. But if you have enough money, choose MAC or Clinique.

I really like the Bare Minerals stuff...seems to last forever. A little goes a long way, too!

have you tried mineral makeup? It's lightweight has great coverage and staying power, plus you can use the multi-colors for eyes, cheeks,lips,and nails. try Mad Minerals, they have generous samples that are really reasonable. Let me know what you think if you try it.....
