I just bought a really cheap pair of jeans that I want to experiment on and I need to know how to change the hem.

well to taper jeans just scrunch together the side on the bottom, and just sew it. make sure you get really strong thread made for denim, because you cant use regular thread cuz its not thick enough.

Well i dont know how to hem but my mom bought skinney jeans at MACY'S for only 10 bucks. Yeah i know. Cheap and they look like any other jeans so maybe if your lucky you will find some cheap skinney jeans on sale :]

I'd recommend that you just buy a pair from the store. Unless you are a really good at sewing you dont want to mess up a good pair of jeans.
