Having some new work done on the inside of my arm and wanted opinons on how soon I can go for a surf.....Waited two weeks in the past (wounds scabbed over and dead skin starting to come off) but it was only small work....I understand it depends on how quickly it heals....?

usually 2 weeks or 3 weeks or even a month! but you should wait until the scabbs fall off! and keep it well moisturized! Keep it covered with some sunblock! the sunblock helps keep the color and the lines!

it absolutely depends on how quickly you heal but my artist says to not go swimming for a month after getting work done because even tho your skin may look healed (no more scabs) bacteria can affect your tattoo and you COULD get an infection. i always wait.

considering those "special" tattoo healing formulas like h0cean are made with salt water i would think 2 weeks would be a short enough wait time. you arent supposed to submerge it in water for at least that long.

I'd wait till it's at least formed a scab. As the Ocean is salt water it shouldn't harm it but actually aid it to heal! Good luck!

dont reckong you'll need to wait too long as the salt water will probably aid the healing
