Hi, I think you should consider using some of Benefit's fantastic eye cosmetics.
They have an eye cream called "eye-con" that you apply daily and over time it significantly reduces dark circles.
For a quick fix they have a number of items that would really help you. "Lyin Eyes" is a concealer pen that you can apply just under your eyes. It comes in 3 shades so there;s sure to be one to suit your skin tone. Then there's "Boi-ing" which is another concealer, but a heavier one, for days when your circles are very noticeable. Again, this comes in 3 shades and has very good even coverage.
Sometimes enhancing other aspects of your eyes detracts attention from the circles. Benefit "Eye Bright" pencil is a lovely pale pink which you apply to the lower rim of your eye lid and it reall y really does make your eyes look brighter. If you prefer white eye pencils, they do "Mr Frosty" but I think the pale pink is a much more subtle and flattering tone. "Ooh la lift" is alo good for perking up tired eyes and reducing puffiness.
Maybe concentrate on your your actual eye lids & brows, for example use "high brow" or "brow-zings" to define and shape your eye brows. These come in different shades which you can use to match to your own hair colour. Try using light shimmer powders to really emphasise your lids. The "show offs" range is excellent. I usually apply Miss Moon, which is like a really subtle white gold shimmer up as far as my brows and then use something like Ruby Doo (pale bronze/pink) or Mint Julep (frosty green) and they always look great as you can apply just a little for a soft day time look or layer it on for night time glamour. lastly, don't forget plenty of mascara - the "Bad Gal" stuff is great.
As you can tell, I'm a huge Benefit fan, but I've been wearing it for years and never wear anything else & I truly swear by it. I've converted all my friends & family at this stage too. I know having dark circles can be such a pain & something you might feel very self conscious about, but trust me, these things really really do work.
Why don't you head to your nearest department store and get the girls on the benefit counter to try some of these things out on you. They are usually pretty good about giving free make-overs & they be able to pick the best products & shades for you & also give you great tips on how to apply everything.
Good luck :)

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Many years ago I learned from a Hawaiian woman a simple trick she used to not only get rid of dark circles, but also the bags under her eyes. Beautiful lady.
Use egg white. Apply under the eyes and allow to dry. Then rinse off. Do this every day. The egg white should be kept in the refrigerator, it will last a long time.
My mother used this and so do I. It's a simple, non-cosmetic solution to an age-old problem. Try it and see, you will show improvement in a short time.
Good Luck.

Some women have dark circles if they lose a lot of blood during their menses. That along with a fibroid cyst, can cause a lot of blood loss and very dark circles. I found that after having surgery to relieve the excess bleeding, my circles are just about gone. I had the surgeries two years ago.

There are three things to get rid of that....
1. Try to sleep early.
2. Concealer temporary erases it. For a certain period of time.
3. Try to put cucumber in your eyes when you are going to sleep. It refreshes your eyes.
Hope this helps.

I'm guessing you don't have eye cream. If you're desperate, then plunge your head into a bowl or sink of iced water. But I would strongly suggest you buy a jar of eye cream for future.

Well, I know how to prevent them! Don't drink water before you go to bed. It gives you dark eye circles and eyebags. Also, sleep early!
