I take a shower every morning before school. My whole schedule in fixing my hair is blowdrying it and then straightening it. Afterwards, my hair is totally flat with no volume or anything. Is there a way to change that without stopping straightening my hair?

blow dry your hair with your head upside down, a little mouse or gel added at the roots. when the roots are dry, then continue to straighten it. once it is all finished bloww dry your roots upside down again just for a little more volume. You may have to tease your hair a little JUST AT THE ROOTS. this should hold your volume a lot longer than your old way. give it a try it can't hurt anything. You may want to try it when your not expected to be somewhere, just to test your results. Also consider your hair products you are using. you don't want anything heavy because of your thin hair. it will just weight it down more. i hope this helps.

After you take a shower, I suggest turning you hair upside down, and then putting some gel on your scalp and on the ends of your hair. (just a little bit!) Then, instead of blow drying your hair normally, just blow dry with your hair still upside down. This gives you hair a little more "oomph", if ya know what I mean. :)

If you do the above I'd suggest trying to straighten your hair before doing this once. (if you hair gets all messy after the blow dry, comb it and smooth it out; I think it'll still look straightened) Because it would help to poof your hair out a bit more. But if that doesn't work, then just straighten you hair after doing all of that.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to use some sort of volumizing/poofing shampoo! Anything that's from the local haircut place is often good, and garnear fructis volumizing shampoo [did I spell that right?!] works well too.

I'm done now. Hehe. :D

Hope I helped and good luck getting your volumized hair!
:)

Use a volumizing shampoo/conditioner, also using mousse in your hair before you straighten it can work. Also try blowdrying your hair with your head upside down, it lifts fromt he roots to give you more volume.

I would suggest poofing it. Turn your head upside down and scrunch your hair with a bit of gel.
I have thick, untameable hair. I would love to have thin hair, so enjoy it!
