im about to try a new kind of makeup....i.d. bare minerals, i know that it is expenisve, but idc if it works well like its supposed to. if uve used it: about how long did it last before u needed more? how "pure" did it feel? was it worth the price? OR: i know there are other, cheaper, versions of it out there, but idk if they work as well....do they? [and what are they?] i really want to try it but not if it will clog my pores, cause acne problems (which i dont have knock on wood) or make me look like i have layers and layers on {or run out of it after just a few weeks of use....} so what r ur opinions

I wear it everyday, and it's more than worth the price. I get refills every few months or so and the make-up itself really feels light. It looks natural, blends well, goes on easily, and you really don't even know it's there. I'm not big into make-up, so I don't use a lot and you can't really tell. My mom uses ID too, and she DOES like a lot of make-up. However, it's hard to even tell that she has it caked on.
The beautiful thing about bare minereals is that it doesn't clog your pores. It's actually improved the quality of my skin in the past 5 months!!

Bare Minerals is not your only option! I like Pure Luxe and Everyday Minerals. They look great on my skin and are soooo much cheaper! Go to this website they have a whole chat board about different Mineral makeup and they have a post with all the differen websites for MMU. Good luck!!

U know what, it didn't work for me, no coverage at all, and my face looked dry and old.. i will tell what i use and how i use it, after buying all brands u know nothing worked but this =) :
a must buy is the cucumber anti stress gel ( after washing ur face with dove soap w vitamin E ) from ST IVES, u put it on u r face, next is New AVEENO® POSITIVELY RADIANT® Daily Moisturizer SPF 30, then with a concealer brush u spot the concealer (vincent longo from sephora medium# 2) on each and every spot in ur face that u dont like including the under eye area, and then u put Maybelline mousse wich worked wonders for me.. i use pure beige, for mascara the best is maybelline the comb looking one... i guess i said alot, hope i helped =)

I use a similar product called Pur Minerals... from the shopping channel... been usung them about 5 years... make your skin just glow... it is a natural makeup... good for your skin and no oil , does not clog pores and has a built in spf of 15

I wanna try it too. the starter kit is 70 $ at the shop but 60$ in
jc penny. i am saving money to try it.I saw a girl there to whom she was applying it and really seemed to work.
