I use great products, dont blowdry often, and get it clipped regularly, but i use a hot iron straightener, though it never hurt my hair before. so really what im asking is not whats causing this...but what can fix it.....i need it to grow out!!! are there any products that can help (price not an issue btw) or anything else, i would like it to grow out to be the beautifully long shiny hair i once had!! plz help!

You said you have minor flakes and split, whether you agree or not this cause by stress and poor circulation and what you can do is have lypmhatic drainage head massage and this will help your hair. This could be done professionally. This will cost at least $25-35 every session depending on your city. You can also use a moisturizing conditioner leave it for at least 30 minutes to take the dryness of your hair. If you followed this simple solution your hair will start growing back to normal. Why I know this will work because I'm a hairdresser and their no such product that will help your hair grow.

The condition known as split ends, technically known as trichoptilosis, occurs when the hair has been stressed too much and the stress frays the ends of the hairstrand. Common causes of trichoptilosis include damage from heat styling, bleaching, coloring, and use of inferior haircare products. Although some products claim to repair split ends, this just isn't true. The only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them off.

Keep your diet balanced, and eat protein and calcium rich foods. Stay away from junk foods! This is essential for healthy hair.

NEVER go to bed with your hair wet! Hair that is half wet is most easily broken, and if you sleep during this time, your hair will be rubbing against each other, damaging your hair in the most terrible way.

Flaking occurs when your scalp is dry, try switching shampoos or buying product to keep your scalp moist, but not greasy.

drink 9 glasses of water a day (no joke) and deep condition it once a week.
Replace your hot iron with a ceramic hot iron.
(better for your hair but still not good)
Use a wide-toothed comb to comb your hair while it's damp.
Towel dry your hair GENTLY (pat dry - no twisting or noogies)
Use an ionizer hair dryer and always dry on low heat when you do.
Try leave in conditioners - but before any of these remove all the buildup with a clairifyer.
Try not to put it back or up in a ponytail (stresses the hair)
replace your pillow with a satin pillow (lets the hair move more freely)
Try VO5 hot oil!

there ya go

T-Gel will definitly do the job. The shampoo isn't glamorous yet after some washes your project is taken care of and that is rather nicely worth it. while the dandruff is long previous, use a shampoo that fits your hair e.g. a individual who would not have greasy hair yet makes use of shampoo for oily hair will unquestionably strengthen greasy hair. So use a shampoo that's suitable to your hair style . wish this facilitates :)

Hello,
Many times our hair and nails show symptoms of other problems. Be sure to take your vitamins, try to eat healthy & get plenty of rest. Also might want to give your hair a rest using heat over a long period of time can stress the hair.

Best Wishes for healthy hair,
Carol
