...so I don't get impulsive with color when I love my hair as it is. It feels like part of my identity. If you have any ideas for styles that look good on brunettes and add some sass, fill me in. I like Angelina's hair bump and I don't need bangs with my forehead being small enough.. I also get my inspiration from soft looks like the girl from father of the bride, Shannon Elizabeth, my old brunette barbie that was beautful, brunettes in broadway have a look to them??, & Kate on the Drew Carrey show but my hair is looong.. and no I'm not a hippy..mor tomboy. I think medium brown hair is unique. Everyone has their own unique shade and I think that is more interesting. It looks more patient, smart, creative, nice, classy, mysterious, sultry, and not so self absorbed to me. I would really like to get out of the doldrums rut of having curl, stick straight or up for edge. One solid color is in right now and I'd like to be different and not need coloring or a super-cut 4something new.Thanx:)

Does anyone know something good like an oil to condition my eyelashes? Something that really works. I've tried vaseline and i don't find it works that good.
Thanks in advance.

Early 30s means one is too old for most "cool" stuff; most trendy clothing these days looks like stuff I wore as a kid -- not cute to do trends the 2nd time around. But it also means one looks a tad too prim if everything's conservative, no matter how classy those outfits look on women a couple of decades older.

So...??

Cost is also a factor; the best I'm doing seems to involve stuff like black cashmere sweaters (tasteful, but, well, still black, at least), and very neatly tailored and pressed plain stuff. But too much of that, and you start to understand why "soccer moms" dress like they do -- it's cheap and it doesn't need dry cleaning, let alone ironing.

I don't want to end up as a "DON'T" here --

http://www.viceland.com/int/dos.php?

but then, a lot of their "DOs" are over-the-top for somebody over 25 and not in NYC.

What sort of things say "I used to be hip, still am a wee bit, still have good taste, but have mostly grown up," and are casual without being sloppy?

I have this absolutely stunning deep purple cocktail dress but it is very simple so I want some bold shoes to go with it, plus, I love to highlight my legs. The problem is, I can not decide what color shoes (I'm going for a simple pump so I can wear them again)- my first thoughts were red or a leopard print, maybe a yellow, but I don't want to go too cartoonish. I don't want white. Any suggestions?

My skin doesn't have anything really wrong with it, but I would like to make it smoother, get rid of fine lines, make my pores smaller and the tone more even. Would a chemical face peel do that? Is that something I need a professional to do? Are there any effective at-home products I could try instead?

I know lemon juice with subtlely highlight blonde hair. Lemon juice will also strip hair of chemicals. Will Lime juice do the same for me? No answers about turning my hair green, lime juice has no color, I cook with it often. I just want to know if it has similar properties as lemon juice. I could always try it, since I have a bottle of lime juice that is way to big for my cooking. Just curious if any of you have tried it.
