Tan is kind of a neutral, so anything would go. I'd stick with non-neutrals, though, so you don't look boring. Pink, blue, purple, green, red, burgundy... They'd all work. Even black would be good. Depending on the shirt, white or a shade of brown would probably look a bit dull and uniformy.

I think pink is an excellent color to go with tan pants. White is also nice.

Definitely tan or brown slacks. Not black, you don't want to dress for Halloween. Depending on your day/event, I would choose tan for a day event or brown for a night event. Good luck!

what kind of tan is it? are they on the cool side of khaki? cornflower blue, olive green or a cocoa brown... darker tans with deeper hues of brown go well with reds and rich berry hues. throw a simple dark plum sweater vest over a white button down shirt with some boots. simple and put together.

well because of the earthy tone, youu could go either way. with a deep rich purple or an earthy green colour. but don't get me wrong, your sure to look dazzling in light colours. such as periwinkle or lavendar. the khaki's are like jeans... you can wear them with almost anything except a khaki shirt!

Red (a rust shade is your best bet), olive green, navy blue, and black. Avoid tans (obviously), whites, and gray.
