My best freind and I got tattos in the same spot. She cried the whole time and it didn't even phase me. Location of the tattoo and pain tolerance has a lot to do with it. I enjoy what getting a tattoo feels like. Some people don't. I find it somewhat realxing.

I have friends who have had tattoos done and in certain places it does hurt, but in other places it doesn't. The places that hurt the most are your ankles, neck, back (spine), wrists. I have been wanting a tattoo but I just don't know where to get one?

yes it does, The intensity of the pain all depends on where you get the tattoo. The chest and rids is one of the most painful places to get a tattoo because of all the nerve endings

Yes it is very painful and if you decide to remove it later it is painful and expensive. Sometimes it is impossible to remove all the color from your skin. You should also think about years from now and how you will feel about having a tatto. It could prevent you from getting the job you want among other things or could cause you to be looked on as a criminal type. You should consider this and not have regrets later.

Yes.
How much depends on the location, the artist, and the nature of the design. Typically, outlining is more painful, so if it has lots of intricate detailing that will require lots of outlining, you'll sit through proportionately more outlining. Large fields of solid color can be painful due to the repetition of having to go over the area thoroughly to avoid blank spots Areas over/close to bone such as shins, ankles, collar bone, down the spine, etc. tend to be more sensitive, too.

Like someone drawing on you with a vibrating needle, basically. You can get the same feeling by dragging the pointed end of a safety pin thru your skin. It's not too bad, if you have a high tolerance for pain. If you are the type who feels pain easily, I wouldn't recommend it.

obviously from the range of answer it depends on the person, the location of the tattoo, the complexity of the tattoo, and the size of the tattoo.

Not really mad, but it depends on how well trained the tatoo artist is. If it is around a joint or bone the pain will be worse, but if it is around somewhere where there is extra skin it wont be as awful as you think. The area will be somewhat sore and tender, but it will be better.

depends on where.. on a real thick muscle part of body like shoulder, bicep, no.. but if on an ankle bone like mine. it hurt but not CRYING hurt just hurt a bit.. if you are real skinny it may hurt you more. .but again a meaty place, like butts or thighs.. not really.. the wipe from the cleaner after burns worse than the sting from the needle.
