Old enough to know without having to ask.
I'm not really sure why young people love to taint their pure, innocent, little bodies, but it seriously looks gross when you're 60 years old and you have the nastiest, saggy, scarred belly-button on the block.

In Ottawa Ontario you have to be 16 with permission of a parent or at the age of 18 you can get it done by your self. It doesn't hurt to get it done.
Good luck

In California 16 with parents written consent. 18 without. I am sure it varies from state to state, but I would imagine that it is pretty much the same in each state.

Legally 18, but if you know anybody having a tattoo and piercing party you can get one now as long as it is o.k with your parents.

It depends on the state and the store. Some stores don't check at all, while others require you to either be 17 or have an adult guardian there with you.

In most places, 18. If you check around, you might be able to find someone to do it under that.
