My skin doesn't have anything really wrong with it, but I would like to make it smoother, get rid of fine lines, make my pores smaller and the tone more even. Would a chemical face peel do that? Is that something I need a professional to do? Are there any effective at-home products I could try instead?

You never as new this technology of face peel is and as lil bit of people know about it i had no idea i would find a question of this type on Yahoo. Awesome! Yes peel is a great way to smooth your face without putting it through hell like you would with laser resurfacing. I havent done it yet but i had an opportunity because my skin got worse and worse after being in Iraq for so long. I had to leave and i coudnt make it to cosmetologist out side of my state to go to for 4 days on a row. But i am definitely going for that because m mother had it done of her face and it looks good, fresh, smooth, scar less and she is 47. Definitely got for that is a 4 day process and its painless, and it works!

Chemical peels are pretty harsh on the skin. Try a natural peel instead. Check out anything organic.
