im 18 and i look about 14 im going out tomorrow night and i was wondering if anyone had any make up tips to make me look older
this is a serious and genuine question so plz help

hey,im 22 and i still get asked for id,well up until i got some tips from one of my mates, put some body in your hair,straight hair is more of a teenage look,so add body and flicks into your hair. if i think of anything i will let u know xxx

I definately agree that flat, straight hair will make you look younger. Try some body in your hair or a nice classic up do! My younger sisiter has the same problem so I always do her hair in a nice french twist or loose bouncy curls with some lift at the crown - this always does the trick for her. Also be careful with your makeup - a more natural look will work better staying clear of pinks and blues on your eyes - opt for more neutral colours.
The most important thing is how you carry yourself - stand tall, look confident. Have a great night!

I would love to look younger than I am but I appreciate that you want to be able to go out and not get questioned about your age. I would say that the trick is not to overdo your make-up. Keep it natural but sophisticated. A good light foundation, little bit of eyeshadow and maybe use a liquid eyeliner for a bit of definition. Either focus on your eyes or lips, if you are going for more eyes then I would stick to a tinted lip gloss. If you pile on the make up you will look like a 14 year old desperate to look older.

Go for subtle base and either put eyeliner on or something like red lipstick (in fashion at the mo), but not both. Also do the same with your clothes, if your showing your chest cover all of your legs and vice versa. Only draw focus to one part of your body, it's more of an adult look.

Add a few curls to your hair and dont over do it on the make up but if u take some id,u will be fine unless its a 21+ club.good luck and have fun.

Ive just turned 26 and Im still getting Id'd for buying booze (mind you, im not complaining now im getting nearer 30)...
I never went out of my way to look older - just love the fact you are ageing slowly and embrace it!! If you do get id'd just whip out your card and prove them wrong!!
If you do want to seem more mature, use your personality and be confident about yourself.

Be proud of how you look now. You will age soon enough. Wear your usual clothes and makeup. Take some I.D. with you and have a good time.

Seriously carry your ID and enjoy looking younger than your years just in case it catches up and you end up looking older than your years

dont worry about lookin younger than your 18 years.
all you need to do is take valid i.d and you'll have no problems at all
